"Unleash Your Potential" - Outline

 

1. The program begins with full audience participation everyone does from their seats. This establishes the theme of the program and instantly communicates the fun of how the mind operates and how the mind is the most important asset they have.

2. The enemies of the mind are revealed: negative influences, drugs, tobacco, alcohol.

3. The power of choice and the importance of our decisions are discussed. How our own decisions often can be manipulated by outside forces, as in the case of drugs, alcohol and tobacco. An interactive piece demonstrates how even when it seems like we have free will, how we can be influenced if we are not careful.

4. Mind tools for success are taught:

• self-esteem, believing in yourself
• positive attitude
• commitment
• continuing a lifetime education

5. The importance of our dreams and converting dreams to goals are taught with a call for action for students to begin to implement strategies that will unleash their potential, demonstrated with magic effect that punctuates the program.

Stage & Equipment Requirements

School requirements:

1. Performance area of approximately 16' wide by 12' deep. Performance area may be in gymnasium, theater, cafeteria or anywhere there is room for students.

2. Three straight back armless chairs.

3. Small table. Size unimportant but no smaller then 20" square.

4. Standard PA System with wireless handheld microphone and microphone stand.
